About Bob Dean
Since 1987, Bob has been recognized leader in strategic planning, marketing, product development and the sale of high-end of attraction projects.
During this process, Bob has managed the conception and delivery of dozens of rides and attractions to leading leisure operators such as Paramount Parks, Inc., Six Flags Theme Parks, Walt Disney Co., Universal Studios, Cedar Fair, Ltd., Blockbuster Entertainment, Hershend Family Entertainment, Ford motor Co. and many more. Specific attractions include brands like Paramount’s Days of Thunder & Tomb Raider, Universal’s Terminator 2:3-D, Disney’s Fantasmic, Six Flag’s The Right Stuff and Blockbuster Entertainment’s Blockparty.
Most recently Bob served as Vice President of Global Marketing and North American Sales for HUSS Maschinenfabrik, a current key client and leader in the provision of high quality German engineered and manufactured flat and high rising rides. From a virtual standstill, Bob was a key contributor to an entirely new corporate strategy, marketing initiative and product line concept (HUSS Giant Rides) that was created, introduced and first sold into North America with great success.
Previously, Bob ran North American Sales for Iwerks Entertainment, Inc. and Omni Films International for over 12 years. During his tenure with Iwerks, he was the company’s leading producer and a key element in dramatic sales revenue growth thus facilitating one of the hottest initial public stock offerings of 1994. Bob was also a part of the successful Omni Films IPO in 1987. Iwerks later acquired Omni Films International.
Because he has been a key element in placing over 120 high-end thrill rides and attractions, you can get a sample of his accomplishments in virtually every corner of the Park and Leisure Industry.
As a proven former financial professional, strategic planner and an accomplished Sales & Marketing executive, Bob brings with him a proven track record of planning a strategic path and implementing it to successful completion with fiscal discipline.
About Tim Viox
Before joining the Leisure Labs LLC team, Tim served as the Sr. Vice President of Design/Engineering/Maintenance for PARC Management, LLC. In this role Tim led design and development for PARC, encompassing new business ventures in addition to improvements and expansions of existing properties. He was also responsible for overseeing engineering and maintenance. Tim’s background includes 13 years at Busch Entertainment Corporation (BEC) in various roles directing design, engineering, maintenance, and project management activities. Among his roles at BEC were Corporate Director of Rides & Maintenance and Vice President of Design & Engineering for the three SeaWorld parks in Orlando, Florida.
Tim oversees the ASTM subcommittee that is responsible for developing standards related to Maintenance & Inspection of Amusement Rides & Devices. He is also a current member of the Board of Directors for AIMS (Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers, International). Tim received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and his Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Tim is a registered Professional Engineer and was recently awarded an Honorary Professional Degree from Missouri University of Science & Technology.
About Jeff Davis
From the early 1990’s Jeff has been involved in the Attractions Industry starting with his association with motion simulation and immersive cinematic experiences most notably in sales, marketing and general management for Omni Films Entertainment, an early originator of giant screen, motion simulation, 3D and 180° film attractions. After the acquisition of Omni Films by Iwerks Entertainment, he served as Director of Sales Europe for a number of years.
Notable accomplishments include motion simulation theater installations in the USA, Japan, Thailand, Austria and Brazil, giant screen attractions development in the Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey and the USA and ride installations in North America, China, Singapore, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to his involvement in the entertainment industry, Jeff served in various executive positions in the coatings and automotive manufacturing industries having served as COO of Sunburst Powder Co. and Bendix Aftermarket Product Manager at Honeywell International.
About Cory Patrick
Cory started his career with Leisure Labs after over 13 years of engineering experience with Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company working in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. Some of the various roles and responsibilities he held during that time include design engineering, systems engineering, and project management.
As a lifelong enthusiast for roller coasters and the amusement industry in general, Cory has established a strong base knowledge of the amusement and theme park industry, a broad understanding of technical aspects involving amusement rides, and fostered multiple existing relationships throughout the industry.
Cory holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Louisville.
