We’re thrilled to share that Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac, the newest roller coaster at Europa-Park, has officially been awarded the 2024 Golden Ticket Award for “Best New Roller Coaster in the World.” Presented by Amusement Today, the Golden Ticket Awards are among the most prestigious honors in the global theme park industry—making this a major win for Europa-Park, MACK Rides, and coaster enthusiasts worldwide.
Voltron Nevera opened in April 2024 as the signature attraction of Europa-Park’s newly unveiled Croatia-themed area. Designed by MACK One and manufactured by MACK Rides, this innovative launch coaster introduces a world-first: the steepest launch on any roller coaster at 105 degrees. It’s not just about thrills, though—Voltron Nevera also delivers a rich, story-driven experience that blends high-tech ride systems with immersive theming and atmosphere.
The award was announced during this year’s Golden Ticket Awards ceremony, held at Kennywood Park in Pennsylvania, USA. Facing stiff competition from around the globe, Voltron Nevera stood out to the jury for its cutting-edge engineering, smooth ride experience, and creative vision.
